Welcome to Bryarose-Farms.
With over 35 years of breeding Dairy Goats and now Boer goats the herd has become something that we are very proud of.
Marie started with Recorded Grades and then got into Nubians in the early 70's. She bought her first Toggenburgs in 1986, and they have been a wonderful addition to the Nubians. We have fallen in love with the grace and style of the Toggenburgs and when combined with our Nubians and our Recorded Grades and Boers, we feel we have a complete herd for all of our needs.

The farm is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley in Salem, Oregon. Visitors are always welcome.
We have the herd CAEV tested yearly and Bottle raise kids upon request for buyers. The herd is also TB/Brucellosis free. Due to sending animals out of state we have also been tested for blue tongue, we are happy to say that we maintained a clean status.
We usually have the herd Linear Appraised every two years. We also attempt to have an official one day milk test done every 2 years. Due to the lack of breeders in my area that want to participate in DHIA the one day test is our only viable option for continuing the lines of * milkers in the herd.
All Kids, Milkers and Bucks are vaccinated at least twice yearly with the bucks on a more regimented cycle of Bo-Se during breeding and collection times. Otherwise the herd is vaccinated twice yearly with Bo-Se and CD-T as well as regimented worming rotation programs. If there is a specific vaccine for your area, let us know and we will ensure that your kid has it before shipping.
A deposit of $50.00 is needed to reserve your choice, we ask that you pick a second choice in case your first choice is not too our standards or is not born. The entire deposit is refundable if your kid(s) are not born. Animals are shipped out at 8 weeks of age, from Portland, Oregon or of course can be picked up at any age over 4 weeks from the farm. The buyers are responsible for crate, health certificate and shipping costs.
We are excited about the does we have and the pedigrees we have been able to bring into the herd. Our hope is that you will find something in the following pages that might just fit into your existing program.
We thank you for your interest in Bryarose-Farms Dairy Goats.
